Websites
I have been designing websites since 1998, primarily as a hobby and, latterly, as a means of income. Like anything else, lots of practice and experience meant that I have achieved a decent level of competency and skill in all my chosen disciplines: meaning that I can confidently tackle a commercial project from start to finish and bring it in on budget and on time.
Since kicking off with very basic sites involving such nasty things as frames and animated gifs(!), I have quickly progressed into the realm of dynamic websites - database power proving to be the way forward for all but the most static sites.
Our expertise now encompasses mySql and SQL Server database technologies, as well as good old MS Access (not recommended for website development!). Note: for the purpose of this website, the use of the words I and Us are freely interchangeble!
Database Applications
In addition to my web design skills, I have many years practical experience in building enterprise level database applications. Examples of my work include a helpdesk system, productivity monitor, bonus scheme implementation, warehouse management system etc.
Please see the database applications page for more information.
My main area of expertise lies in warehousing with my key skills being barcode driven applications and Visual Basic coding.
